Background Check Authorization Form

Use our online webform to submit a criminal history check. The online process is secure, and only authorized district staff will see the results. Due to the volume of applications received, we are unable to inform applicants when the process is completed. We use a ‘no news is good news’ protocol. Unless you hear from the District within 7-10 business days, you can expect that your application has been approved.

Background checks are only good for 1 year. They must be completed yearly.

The following are some of the many ways to support Springwater with your time and talents.  Contact the coordinator to learn more!  Also, see the complete descriptions in the Volunteer Handbook.

Springwater supports community involvement as an integral part of the educational goals of the school. Therefore, the development of volunteer relationships is recommended and encouraged.  Our students’ safety is our top priority.  We encourage all volunteers to understand their role and be familiar with School Policies.  We also strongly encourage reviewing the Sexual Misconduct Brochure and Quick Reference Guide on topics about keeping children safe.  Additional training is available from SafeSchools and can be found online and accessed with self-registration.  Click here for training.

Friday Field Studies is a great way to make a difference with small groups of students and be present in Metro Land.  Click here for training and guidance for FFS volunteering.
